Welcome to Staffordshire Wing
The new look Staffordshire Wing website
Launched on 4 January 2008, the Staffordshire Wing e-rebrand has been set to coincide with appointment of the new Officer Commanding Staffordshire Wing, Wg Cdr G Kearns RAFVR(T).
Building on the experience developed with the previous web designs, this new site is designed to be a tool for cadets and staff members.
Some of the features of the new site include:
- Cleaner front page design with news bar on the left.
- Links bar on the right to other sites developed by the Wing.
- Short links bar at the top of each page to the most visited sections of the website.
In addition, the Wing has developed additional support for cadets. The Cadet Sharepoint site (http://share.staffswing.org.uk/) provides access for cadets to Joining Instructions, Application Forms and Consent Forms plus other useful information. Further details about this is being sent out to Squadrons shortly.
For staff members, Staffordshire Wing Technical Services has launched its own website (http://support.staffswing.org.uk/) with useful IT information and its eSupport service, a helpdesk to resolve any IT issues as and when they arise.
This site and its facilities have been refreshed and will continue to adapt over the coming months. If you have any ideas, suggestions or would be interested in helping us out, please let us know.
